Travel safely with YauzaiSafar
The app gives you ways to check a ride before you commit. This guide covers what those tools do, what they don't, and how to travel smart as a passenger or a driver.

Your safety is your decision
YauzaiSafar helps travellers find each other. YauzaiSafar and Hizli System, the company that owns it, provide the app service only. We don't provide transport, employ or vet drivers, inspect vehicles, handle payments or take part in any ride, and we don't accept responsibility for anything that happens before, during or after a trip arranged between travellers. The measures on this page help you decide; they don't guarantee your safety. Check every ride yourself, and only travel when you're comfortable. Sections 12 and 15 of our Terms and Conditions set this out in full.
What the app does to help
Everything you need to judge a ride is on the post, before you book.
-
Verified badge
Travellers can choose to have their ID card checked by our team. Those who pass show a verified badge next to their name. It confirms who they are, nothing more.
-
Price and seats up front
Every post shows the route, date, time, seats and price per seat, so the cost is clear before anyone gets in the car.
-
No double-booking
Each seat is reserved the moment it's booked, so two people can't be promised the same seat.
-
Live trip map
During an active trip, you and the person you're travelling with see each other's position and the pickup pin.
-
WhatsApp handoff
One tap opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message to the other traveller, so pickup details are agreed in writing.
-
You choose who you travel with
Drivers accept or decline each booking, and passengers choose which ride or driver offer to take. Nobody is assigned to you.
-
Outside listings are reviewed
Rides gathered from other sources are checked by our team before they appear, but the people who posted them haven't signed up or been verified. Take extra care with them.
What YauzaiSafar doesn't do
So you know exactly what you need to check yourself, YauzaiSafar does not:
- Run background or criminal-record checks on anyone.
- Check driving licences, vehicle registration, insurance or the condition of any car.
- Show ratings or reviews of travellers.
- Handle money. Fares are agreed and paid directly between travellers.
- Watch trips as they happen or respond to emergencies. There is no SOS button, and trip location is shared only with the person you are travelling with.
- Insure rides, travellers or belongings.
- Settle disputes between travellers over money, timing, cancellations or conduct.
Before you travel
- 1 Check the profile. Look for the verified badge. Be extra careful with unverified travellers and with listings from other sources.
- 2 Agree everything in writing. On WhatsApp, confirm the pickup point, time, route, stops, price per seat and how many people are travelling.
- 3 Get the car details. Ask for the driver's name, the car's make and colour and its number plate, and check them when you meet. If they don't match, don't get in.
- 4 Never pay in advance. Pay the agreed amount in person, for the seat you travelled in. Don't send money to hold a seat to someone you haven't met.
- 5 Meet somewhere busy. Choose a public place such as a petrol station, bus stand or main road. Don't share your home address before your first trip together.
- 6 Tell someone. Send a family member or friend who you are travelling with, the car and number plate, your route and when you expect to arrive.
- 7 Carry your ID and a charged phone. Checkpoints on intercity roads may ask for your ID card (CNIC in Pakistan).
On the road
- Keep the live trip map on until you've met, and share your live location with family on WhatsApp for the whole journey.
- Wear your seatbelt and sit where you're comfortable.
- If the driving feels unsafe (speeding, using a phone, driving tired), ask the driver to slow down or stop.
- If you feel unsafe, ask to stop at a busy public place and get out. You're never obliged to continue a trip.
- Keep your phone, money and bags with you at every stop.
Travelling as a woman
- Prefer verified drivers, especially for your first trips.
- Before you book, ask the driver who else is travelling.
- Plan first trips in daylight and meet at busy, well-lit places.
- Share the driver's details and your live location with family before you set off.
- Trust your instincts. You can cancel or end a trip at any point; just tell the other person.
For drivers
- You are responsible for your own valid driving licence, registration, insurance and a roadworthy car, as the law where you drive requires.
- Accept only passengers you are comfortable with, and check that the person who meets you is the one who booked.
- Don't carry parcels or bags for anyone who isn't travelling in the car.
- Drive rested, keep to the speed limit and keep your phone down.
- Share the cost of trips you are already making. Running an unlicensed taxi or transport business through YauzaiSafar is not allowed.
Community rules
-
Be respectful
Harassment, threats and discrimination of any kind are not allowed.
-
One person, one account
No fake or shared accounts, and no pretending to be someone else.
-
Post honestly
Show the real route, time, seats and price, and update or remove a post when plans change.
-
Use contact details only for the trip
Other travellers' numbers are for arranging your ride, nothing else.
-
No fraud, scams or illegal activity
Including using the app to run a transport business.
Breaking these rules can lead to your account being suspended or removed. See Sections 13 and 14 of the Terms.
If something goes wrong
In an emergency, call for help first. In Pakistan:
- 15 Police
- 1122 Rescue: ambulance and rescue
- 130 Motorway Police, on motorways and national highways
- 115 Edhi ambulance
Outside Pakistan, call your local emergency number.
Then tell us
Email support@yauzaisafar.com with your account email, the other traveller's name and number, the date and route, and what happened, with any screenshots. We look into reports and can suspend or remove accounts that break our rules. Email is not an emergency service: we usually reply within two business days.
Disputes and listings
Disagreements over money, timing or cancellations are between the travellers involved, and we don't mediate them. If a listing shows your phone number and you want it removed, see Section 12 of the Privacy Policy.
Safety questions
Does YauzaiSafar check drivers?
Only if they choose to verify. The verified badge means a traveller's ID card was checked by our team. YauzaiSafar does not check driving licences, vehicles, insurance or criminal records, so confirm the driver and the car yourself before you travel.
Is YauzaiSafar responsible if something happens during a ride?
No. YauzaiSafar and Hizli System provide the app only. Rides are arranged and taken between travellers, at their own risk. Sections 12 and 15 of our Terms and Conditions set this out in full.
Who can see my location?
Only the person you are travelling with, and only during an active trip. When you post, the app also reads your location once to set your country and currency. Location is never collected outside a trip.
Can I cancel if I don't feel safe?
Yes. You are never obliged to travel or to continue a trip. Tell the other person as early as you can, and if you're already on the road, ask to stop somewhere busy and public.
How do I report another traveller?
Email support@yauzaisafar.com with your account email, their name and number, the date and route, and what happened. In an emergency, call the police (15) or Rescue 1122 first.
Are rides from other sources safe to take?
Our team reviews them before they appear, but the people who posted them haven't signed up to YauzaiSafar or agreed to our Terms, and their details haven't been checked. Take extra care, and confirm everything with them before you travel.
